Ram Service FAQ
How Do I Schedule a Ram Service Appointment?
You can schedule a service appointment for your Ram vehicle by contacting us or by using our online form. This online option makes it more convenient, as you can reserve a date and time right from your phone or computer. Before you fill out the form, head on over to our service specials page to see what is available. You may be able to add in another service request to take advantage of our current offers. The scheduling form will ask for your vehicle’s make, model, and year, or you can simply enter in the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to more quickly display the information. You’ll also be asked about your vehicle’s current mileage, so have that on hand to enter in an accurate number.
What Sort of Ram Maintenance Do We Offer?
Once your vehicle information and mileage are entered, you’ll be shown what the factory-recommended maintenance is for your mileage interval. It will likely include an oil change, filter replacement, and tire rotation, as these are the more routine offerings we complete. If your vehicle is having an issue that you want inspected, you’ll move to the next step of the form. There, you’ll be prompted to search and select from the many service options. Some of these include the following:
- Brake system diagnosis
- Engine diagnosis
- Steering and suspension issues
- Tire or wheel issues
- Electrical system issues
Any number of these can be selected in order to address all of your vehicle needs. When you choose to add a specific service, you can type in additional comments regarding the issue. Your requested Ram maintenance may call for a part replacement, and we have many Mopar® components in stock if needed. To order these parts ahead of time, use our online form and let us know what you’d like. We’ll contact you when the order is ready. You can opt to take the parts home or have our team install them on site.
How Often Does a Ram Vehicle Need Service?
Depending on the mileage interval of your Ram vehicle, an assortment of other services may be recommended beyond the routine oil change and tire rotation we mentioned above. As you are scheduling your appointment, scroll down further to access the service schedules by mileage. For the majority of Ram vehicles, we recommend an oil change, filter replacement, and multi-point inspection every 5,000 miles. Once your vehicle is around the 20,000- or 25,000-mile interval, we’ll check the cabin air filter and battery as well. After reaching 60,000 miles (and again at 120,000 miles), your vehicle will require brake caliper service, a transmission fluid exchange, brake fluid service, and more. Make sure to check out these different intervals to stay on track for upcoming appointments. You can also reference them to make sure you’ve completed the correct maintenance for previous intervals. Then, reserve your appointment time and our team will take over!
